Today, I say goodbye to Rome. Today, I say goodbye to the only place in the world that has this much history, this much culture, this much compassion.
It’s bittersweet because I’ll be in Florence tomorrow but it’s hard to imagine any other place being this good. Because, yes, Rome was THAT good.
So, it’s with a very sad state that I say goodbye to my favorite city and to all the wonderful people and experiences that I’ve made.
Rome, thank you for making me feel like I’m home and for always providing me with a sense of belonging (although my feet will never work again).
I love you forever, Roma! I hope to be back soon.
